
Finnish Foundation of Veterinary Research
The purpose of the Finnish Foundation of Veterinary Research is to support and advance the following aims in Finland: veterinary research, practical veterinary work, and national health sciences performed by a veterinarian.
The Foundation was established in 1966, when the Finnish veterinary association donated the core funds from its scientific fund and Greta and Werner Heinonen-fund aimed for veterinary research.

Finnish Foundation OF Veterinary Research travel grants 2021
The purpose of the Finnish Foundation of Veterinary Research is to support and advance the following aims in Finland: veterinary research, practical veterinary work, and national health sciences performed by a veterinarian.
In winter 2021 20 000 euros will be awarded as travel grants. Travel grants are primarily given to persons who participate in a scientific meeting (or e-meeting) and present there an oral abstract or a poster.
Grants are applied via electronic system in www.sels.fi. The application is open during 14.1. - 10.2.2021. If the applicant has not reported the previous grants received from the Finnish Foundation of Veterinary Research, new applications are not taken into consideration.
PAY ATTENTION: Autumn research and travel grant application period will be earlier next year (1.6.-30.6.2021)
